Life Stories… The Story of T-ball {Chicago Area Photographer}

I hope you all are enjoying this monthly series as much as I am… every month I get so excited to clicked through the linked circle and read so many fantastic stories by other talented photographers, and I know this month will be no different!

This month was a first for my middle child… he is 3, and having a sister 5 years older than him has been tough… he has had to go to numerous dance practices, competitions, recitals, and so on… with no activities of his own… Until now…. This year he was finally old enough for us to enroll him into his first ever organized sports!

My little man is in T-ball! I have to first recognize the fabulous coaches that lead this, because oh my goodness – you have never seen anything as crazy as twenty 3 and 4 year olds trying to learn an organized sport – as cute as it is to watch as a parent – it has got to take A LOT patience from the coaches! So thank you to them, for giving my little bubba his first sport!

It all begins with a ball and glove…

Then, or course, there is a little fielding… especially when you are covering 1st base…

And then a chance to play outfield…

Finally time to learn some batting…

Melissa & Owen… Waiting for Baby {Chicago Area Maternity Photographer}

Let me start by saying that I just LOVE this couple! Right from the start they were just a pleasure to work with and we clicked instantly – even when I asked Owen to do odd things for beautiful pictures! I simply cannot wait for the arrival of their little one and for the chance to work with them again.

I just love outdoor pictures and I couldn’t be happier that it got warm a bit early this spring and we were able to head outdoors in addition to our studio pictures. I love how the combined session gave such variety!

Melissa, you truly are a beautiful Mama-to-be, and I just know that you and Owen are going to be fabulous and fun-loving parents! Cannot wait to meet your little bundle!

Life Stories… The Story of the First Birthday

Just to refresh your memory – this is part of a year long project I am participating in with several other HUGELY talented photographers across the world. Each month we are pushing each other to remember to document the every day things in our family’s lives, and then share them with you!

I have to start out by saying I CANNOT believe that I am already sharing this – as in my baby boy turned 1 – he is officially a toddler! I remember sharing our maternity announcement pictures here, his newborn photos, and even those as he reach various baby stages – and now this!!! Where does the time go?

This little guy amazes me EVERY.SINGLE.DAY ! Having 2 older siblings in the house, definitely puts him at the advantage of learning at a very fast pace – all in his adventures to be just as big as his brother and sister.

Here is my birthday boy, is all of his birthday party splendor – My little monster turned 1!
